The Diagnostic Audit · For larger firms
Your teams know where the hours go. Your board should too.
For firms with several teams or departments. I look closely at 1 or more areas of the business, interview the people who do the work, and bring it together in a board-ready report your managing director can read in under 15 minutes: where the time goes, and what to change.
The gap nobody sees from the top
Leadership usually has a picture of how work flows. The people at the keyboard often have a different one, built from workarounds nobody wrote down. Most of the wasted time lives in that gap, and you can't see it from a dashboard. You find it by asking the people who do the work.
Streams
Each area I look at is a stream: marketing, for example, or stock planning and forecasting. You choose which streams matter and how many.
What you get for each stream
- Interviews with the people who do the work, not only the people who manage it.
- Written findings on where time and money are going.
- An executive summary a director can read in 15 minutes.
- Workflow maps of how the work runs now and how it could run, with every automated step and every human check named.
- A priority matrix: what to automate now, what needs a person checking it, and what to leave alone.
How it starts
With a call to agree which streams matter most. The price is agreed on that call, before any work begins.
